Here at Astoria’s largest and most iconic waterfront hotel we’re committed to doing everything possible to ensure that your stay with us is a memorable one.  Built in 1968 and formally known as the Red Lion-Thunderbird Motel Inn, we were the first waterfront hotel in Astoria.

Every one of the Inn’s 115 spacious rooms offer their own deck with commanding views of the active marina, Astoria-Meglar Bridge, and the majestic Columbia River.

Given the current events in the United States and around the world during the Covid-19 pandemic, the safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority. All of our employees are screened daily before work and are using and wearing PPE equipment during their shifts. The staff has increased their cleaning measures to ensure that we are helping to slow the rise for new cases and to do our part in helping to stop the pandemic. Hotel-wise, we are taking extra steps to help limit the amount of contact our guest have with each other. Our hot breakfast is now a grab-and-go bagged breakfast to stay in compliance with new CDC Guidelines. At this time, our complimentary DVD and bicycle offerings have been suspended. Please follow us on our Facebook and Instagram accounts for new updates about the property as we look to return to normal as soon as we can. We thank you all!
