Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival

Enjoy the fun at the Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival. Over 200 vendors offer great coastal cuisine, arts and crafts, wine tasting and more! The event is held at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds on Hwy 202, about 4 miles from the junction of Highway 101 in Astoria.


Astoria Sunday Market

Fun, food and music at the Astoria Sunday Market, which features up to 200 vendors each week offering locally-made products that have been hand-crafted, grown, created or gathered by the farmers, craftspeople and artisans featured each week. In addition, the Market has a lively food court with regional entertainment making this the gathering place each Sunday for locals and visitors to the region.


Scandinavian Festival

The Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival has been a tradition on the North Coast of Oregon for over forty years. The Festival takes place typically on the 3rd full weekend of June. The festival embodies the rich cultural heritage that came to the Astoria area with the immigrating Scandinavians. During the three days of the festival over a dozen Scandinavian musical, dance, and theater groups provide entertainment. Retail booths offer handcrafted items, Scandinavian import items, and traditional Scandinavian foods.


Astoria Music Festival

The Astoria Festival of Music at the Liberty Theater in downtown Astoria is Oregon’s summer music festival that features operatic, symphonic, and chamber music performances at the historic Liberty Theater. Praised by The Oregonian as one of Oregon’s “Winning Coastal Fests,” the annual festival presents professional performances of historic and contemporary masterpieces for both lovers of fine instrumental music and opera fans alike.

Fireworks, small-town parades and food all make an appearance in Astoria for this family-friendly holiday. The day is full of family fun, including the Fire Department BBQ, Riverwalk Parade, and spectacular fireworks begin at dusk. And of course, the beach is just a few miles away!


Astoria Regatta Festival

A tradition since 1894, this 5-day celebration, located on the Astoria’s historic waterfront offers something for everyone: sailboat races, concerts, classic cars, softball, ship tours and great food.


Hood to Coast Relay

The largest relay race in North America, it stretches 197 miles from the top of Oregon’s Mt. Hood, down to the Pacific Ocean, in Seaside, Oregon, over 12,000 runners show up to experience this annual event.


Great Columbia Crossing 10K Walk/Run

Take part in the crossing of the mouth of the Columbia River on the 4.1-mile Astoria Bridge, which is open to pedestrians only once a year for this event.


Astoria International Film Festival

An intimate film festival where you can view, learn about, and discuss documentary, dramatic, and short films by international and USA independent filmmakers.

Offering a curated viewing experience, complemented by intellectual and social amenities and access to select filmmakers.

AIFF is dedicated to bringing independent filmmakers from around the world and their work to an appreciative audience. We feature films that we love. We’re captivated by the respective director’s compelling subjects, storytelling, cinematography skills, and by the ways in which their work can enrich our lives. We then screen the films in a unique, experientially distinctive film festival setting.

Darkness falls upon Astoria every winter….and stout lovers rejoice. On Saturday, Feb. 16, all areas of Fort George Brewery block will be overflowing with dark art, darker entertainment, and the darkest selection of craft beer ever assembled.


The FisherPoets Gathering

A celebration of the commercial fishing industry in poetry, prose and song, the FisherPoets Gathering has attracted fisherpoets and their many fans to Astoria, Oregon the last weekend of February since 1998. They gather in Astoria’s pubs, restaurants and galleries to read for each other and for the hundreds of fisherpoetry fans who come to hear the authentic, creative voices of deckhands and skippers, cannery workers and shipwrights, young greenhorns and old timers, strong women and good-looking men.
